Happy Chickens Lay Eggs Everyday!

So far so good! The chickens seem to be happy and we are getting 3 eggs (one each)  a day.

Garden

Considering the lack of rain this year my garden is not doing so bad.  Although by this time last year I had already harvested from it, I'm now seeing progress.

Love zucchini!

Corn

Lettuce

Tomatoes

Apple, citrus, and sweet mint.

Happy Chickens

Everyday after work my husband and I let the chickens out of their coop to roam the yard.  They typically stay close to their coop but it's nice to have them out and listen to them.  They are getting so big and all have changed colors to the point where we can hardly tell them apart.

Mysterious Eerie Light…

This picture of the coop was sent to us by our next door neighbors (Jen and Sam).  This is what they see at night!

Highlands Ranch Coop - 95% Finished

We are not quite done with the coop details but the chickens have moved in! All we have left to do is paint the outside, add the nesting box, and add a vent to the roof. I am so happy with the way it turned out. My husband did an awesome job!!
